#### How to use the Solana Wallet Asset Migration Tool:

1. Connect your wallet.
2. Choose a migration mode.
3. Select the assets to migrate.
4. Review migration details.
5. Choose the destination address and start the transfer.

#### Specific Steps:

1. **Connect your wallet.**

Select and connect the wallet you want to use. SlerfTools supports multiple Solana wallets (e.g., Phantom, Solflare, MetaMask, OKX Wallet via Wallet Adapter). [Phantom Wallet Installation Guide](https://docs.slerf.tools/en-us/solana-guide/phantom-wallet-installation-guide).

2. **Choose a migration mode**

Currently supported:

* **Multi‑wallet**: Import multiple Solana wallets and run migrations in one place (batch operations).
* **Single‑wallet**: Connect a wallet directly, or operate via a private key import. Private key import is high risk—only use it if you fully understand the implications. If you do, rotate the key after the migration to avoid long‑term exposure.

3. **Select Multi-Wallet Migration**

**Two options are available for multi-wallet import:**

* [Local Wallet Manager ](https://slerf.tools/en-us/wallet-management/solana)(recommended)
 * Manage multiple wallets locally on your device for faster, safer batch operations.
 * No need to paste private keys.
 * Best for bulk transfers across many addresses.
* Manual import
 * Import via wallet file or paste a private key.
 * High risk—use only if you fully understand the implications.

* [Local Wallet Manager ](https://slerf.tools/en-us/wallet-management/solana)(recommended)

**SlerfTools** **Local Wallet Manager:** [**https://slerf.tools/en-us/wallet-management/solana**](https://slerf.tools/en-us/wallet-management/solana)

Supports multiple core functions such as unified management of multiple wallets and batch operations.

* Manual import

Copy the private key for each wallet and paste it into the input table.

Supported file types: Excel / CSV / TXT / JSON. [Download the template](https://slerf.tools/demo/xlsx-demo.xlsx).

4. **Select Single-Wallet Migration**

SlerfTools offers two ways to get started with a single wallet: connect a wallet directly, or operate via a private key.

* **Connect wallet** (recommended)

After a successful connection, the dApp auto‑detects your wallet address, SOL balance, and all held SPL tokens for a clear portfolio overview.

The page refreshes asset details in real time. You’ll see a toggle labeled “Transfer includes SOL” Turn it on if you want to migrate SOL along with your tokens.

* **Import private key**

Choose “Private Key Operation” then either use the [SlerfTools Local Wallet Manager](https://slerf.tools/en-us/wallet-management/solana) or paste a private key manually.

Once imported, the dApp auto‑reads your wallet address, SOL balance, and SPL tokens for an at‑a‑glance view.

Asset details refresh in real time, and you can decide whether to “Transfer includes SOL” during migration.

5. **Choose the destination address and start the transfer**

{% hint style="danger" %} **Verify the destination address carefully—on‑chain transfers are final. A wrong address means the assets cannot be recovered.**
{% endhint %}

Choose a receiving address

* Manual entry: Paste any valid Solana address. Double-check the first/last 6 characters.
* Use current wallet: One‑click “**Current Wallet**” to set your connected wallet as the recipient.

Fee sponsor (fee payer)

* **Toggle Pay Gas** if the source wallet has no SOL for fees.
* You can import another wallet with SOL to act as the fee payer. It will pay network fees (and any ATA/account-creation costs) but does not receive your assets.
* Make sure the fee‑payer wallet has enough SOL to cover all transactions.

Start the transfer

* Click **Start Transfer**. The tool will send each selected asset (including SOL, if enabled) in sequence.
* Approve the signature prompts in your wallet. Do not close or refresh until all transactions are submitted.

{% hint style="danger" %}
1\. Protect Private Key: SlerfTools only computes locally and is used for signing transactions, never collecting or uploading your private key or sensitive information.

2\. Recommended Low-Value Wallets: Use wallets with small balances for operations to minimize risk.

3\. Safely Copy Private Key: When copying the private key, please scramble the order and copy in segments to prevent clipboard data from being monitored by malicious software.

4\. Official No Request for Private Key: SlerfTools will never ask for your private key information, please remain vigilant.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
After you move your assets to your new wallet, use popular portfolio tools to track everything easily and tap into yield opportunities sooner.
