How to Use the Solana Token Update Tool

1. Connect your Solana wallet

2. Enter the token contract address you want to update

3. Automatically check update permissions for the token

4. Modify the information you wish to update

5. Sign the transaction and wait for the update to complete

Preparation Checklist:

1. A computer or a mobile phone

2. Solana wallet

3. At least 0.06 SOL in your wallet

4. Token contract information

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Connect Your Wallet

SlerfTools currently supports a variety of popular Solana wallets such as Solflare, Phantom, and OKX Wallet. This guide uses Phantom as an example.

Go to the SlerfTools token update page, where you can switch the language using the toggle in the upper right corner.

2 .Enter or paste the token contract address you wish to update.

The token contract can be obtained by clicking the respective token in your wallet and viewing the contract address in the browser.

3. Automatically query the token's update permissions.

You can only update the token if the selected token's metadata modification rights have not been forfeited, and the currently linked wallet is the administrator of the selected token, as shown in the image below:

The authority to modify token metadata has been relinquished and cannot be updated, as shown in the image below.

4. Modify the token information that needs to be updated

You can modify the token's name, symbol, logo, description, official website information, social media links, minting permission address, and freezing permission address.

5. Confirm the update, sign the transaction, and wait for the token update to complete.
