# Common Solana Chain Error Messages

This article records some common errors on the Solana chain and their causes.

1. **Error Message: "Program Error. instruction #3 Failed- Account is frozen"**
   * **Explanation**: The token account is frozen. The owner of tokens that have not renounced permissions can freeze accounts under the token. Frozen accounts cannot perform transactions or transfers.
2. **Error Message: "Program Error: Instruction #5 Failed - null" or "Program Error: Instruction #5 Failed - InvalidInput"**
   * **Explanation**: Error in transaction item #5, usually caused by incorrect transaction parameters. The number (#) indicates which transaction information is wrong.
3. **Error Message: "Program Error: Instruction #3 Failed - insufficient funds"**
   * **Explanation**: Insufficient funds in the wallet.
