What is the OKX Wallet?

OKX Wallet is a decentralized, self-custody Web3 wallet where users independently control their private keys; the platform does not store any user passwords or key information. It supports iOS, Android, Chrome extension, and web use, and is compatible with 120+ major public blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, X Layer, Arbitrum, Polygon, BSC, and Solana.

OKX Wallet not only has basic functions such as viewing assets, sending and receiving transfers, and connecting to DApps, but also includes a wealth of Web3 tools and services. It is a true one-stop Web3 gateway:

  • Cross-chain swap aggregator DEX: Supports asset exchanges between multiple chains, with higher trading efficiency and better prices.

  • One-stop DeFi investment tools: Helps users participate in on-chain yield projects.

  • Heterogeneous multi-chain trading aggregation platform: Supports convenient trading of Crypto, Ordinals, and NFTs.

  • DApp browser: Easily access 1,000+ DApp protocols and quickly discover on-chain opportunities.

In short, OKX Wallet is fully featured, easy to use, and beginner-friendly. One wallet can handle asset management, cross-chain trading, and DApp interactions, helping users easily enter the Web3 world.

Security notices and tips

Security is the most important thing when using OKX Wallet. The following points can help you protect your assets:

  1. Keep your mnemonic safe

The mnemonic is the only way to restore the wallet. Please write it on paper and keep it in a safe place; do not screenshot or store it in the cloud. Anyone who obtains the mnemonic can control your assets.

  2. Beware of fake websites and phishing links

Confirm the URL before entering wallet information. Do not click links sent by strangers, especially those in social media or emails.

  3. Use a hardware wallet for large sums

OKX Wallet is sufficiently secure for daily use, but for large or long-term holdings it's best to store them in a hardware wallet. Keeping private keys offline is safer.

  4. Test with a small transfer first

When making your first transfer or cross-chain transfer, send a small amount first. After confirming there are no issues, then send larger amounts to avoid losing funds due to operational mistakes.

  5. Be cautious when granting dApp permissions

When connecting to a dApp, read the authorization details carefully and do not casually grant "infinite allowance." Revoke permissions for dApps you no longer use.

  6. Protect your devices

Set strong passwords for your phone and computer, avoid public Wi‑Fi, and keep your system and apps updated. Enable fingerprint or face recognition if available.

  7. Regularly check assets and permissions

Make it a habit to regularly review your wallet and permissions. If you find anything abnormal, revoke permissions or transfer funds immediately.
