💙Arbitrum One Guide
🚀 About the Arbitrum One Network
Arbitrum One is a leading Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution built on Optimistic Rollup technology.
Seamless Migration: It maintains full EVM compatibility, allowing for a near "native migration" experience for developers and users.
Performance: By utilizing efficient transaction sequencing and batch submission, Arbitrum One significantly reduces Gas fees while boosting network throughput.
Security: It inherits Ethereum's robust security model through Fraud Proofs (which can be adjudicated and proven on L1), making it the ideal environment for hosting high-value DeFi protocols and general-purpose dApps.
SlerfTools is fully integrated with the Arbitrum One ecosystem.
We provide an out-of-the-box solution covering Token Launches, Airdrops, Trading, and Wallet Management.
⚠️ Note on Network Switching:
This page provides the RPC configuration to add the Arbitrum One network.
Once you have switched networks, the operational workflow is identical to BSC.
Please note: For consistency, tutorial screenshots may display the BSC interface. However, the UI and steps on Arbitrum One remain unchanged—simply follow the standard process.

🎯 Arbitrum Advantage: As the TVL Leader of Ethereum Layer 2 solutions, Arbitrum boasts the most mature DeFi/GMX ecosystem.
Powered by the Nitro technology stack, it achieves Ethereum-grade security with extremely low transaction costs, making it the top choice for native Ethereum projects migrating to L2.
⚙️ Step 1: Node & RPC Configuration
🌟 Important Note: The Arbitrum ecosystem consists of two main chains: Arbitrum One (DeFi / Core Business) and Arbitrum Nova (Gaming / Social).
This guide applies to Arbitrum One, where the majority of DeFi activity takes place.
⚠️ Gas Fee Alert:
You must hold ETH in your wallet to pay for Gas fees.
Do NOT use ARB tokens for gas (ARB is strictly a governance token).

⛽️ Gas Fees & Optimization (ETH)
Arbitrum's Gas mechanism is built on the Nitro technology stack. While the fee structure technically consists of an L2 Execution Fee and an L1 Data Posting Fee, this complexity is abstracted away, making it seamless for the end user.
1. Cost Structure
Standard Transactions: Fees are paid in ETH. Following the Dencun Upgrade (and the introduction of Data Blobs), the cost for a typical Swap or transfer is now < $0.01.
High Throughput: Arbitrum processes thousands of transactions per second (TPS). Additionally, Stylus contracts (WASM) further reduce computation costs for complex smart contract interactions.
2. How to Acquire Gas (ETH)
Official Bridge (Arbitrum Bridge): The most secure method, but withdrawals back to Ethereum L1 take approximately 7 days (due to the Challenge Period). Best suited for moving large amounts of capital.
Exchanges (CEX): Major exchanges like Binance, OKX, and Coinbase support direct ETH withdrawals via the Arbitrum One network.
Cross-Chain Aggregators: We recommend using Orbiter Finance or Jumper. These platforms utilize market maker mechanisms to achieve instant bridging, effectively bypassing the official bridge's 7-day wait time.
3. Gas Saving Tips
Monitor L1 Traffic: Even though you are transacting on L2, a small fraction of the gas fee depends on Ethereum Mainnet's Blob market. Avoiding times of extreme Ethereum Mainnet congestion can slightly reduce your costs.
Use Batch Tools: SlerfTools' batch contracts are highly optimized. Performing operations in bulk can save 30%-50% on Gas compared to executing individual transactions manually one by one.
Prioritize Native USDC: Transfers with Native USDC avoid complex bridged token contracts. This results in cleaner interactions and smoother deposits/withdrawals from exchanges.
📊 Common Resources List (Dev Resources)
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: Native USDC and Bridged USDC (USDC.e) currently coexist on Arbitrum. You MUST verify the contract address carefully before launching tokens or adding liquidity (LP)!

❓ Arbitrum One Specific FAQ
I withdrew ETH to Mainnet via the official bridge. Why hasn't it arrived after 7 days?
Arbitrum uses Optimistic Rollup technology. Withdrawing assets from L2 back to L1 requires a mandatory 7-day "Fraud Proof Challenge Period" to ensure network security. This is a core protocol feature, not a bug.
Solution: If you require instant settlement, please use a third-party bridge (e.g., Orbiter, Jumper) or deposit funds directly to a centralized exchange (CEX) and then withdraw to Mainnet.
Why do I see two types of USDC? Which one should I use for Liquidity Pools?
In the early days, Arbitrum only had the bridged version (USDC.e). Later, Circle deployed the Native USDC.
Preferred: Native USDC (
0xaf88...). It has deeper liquidity and is natively supported by most CEXs.Recommendation: If you hold the legacy USDC.e, we recommend swapping it for Native USDC on Uniswap before adding liquidity or performing other operations.
What is the difference between Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova?
Arbitrum One (ChainID
42161): The main hub for DeFi. It has the highest TVL and inherits full Ethereum security. SlerfTools currently supports Arbitrum One.Arbitrum Nova (ChainID
42170): Built on AnyTrust technology. It is designed for high-throughput Gaming and Social apps (Ultra-low Gas, but with slightly different security guarantees).
What is Stylus? Does it affect my Token Launch?
Stylus is a major upgrade that allows developers to write smart contracts in languages like Rust and C++.
For SlerfTools Users: This update is transparent to you. Our tools use audited, standard Solidity templates. You do not need to do anything differently; you will simply benefit from the overall performance improvements of the network.
