⚡Sonic Network Guide
🚀 About the Sonic Network
Sonic is a high-performance Layer 1 settlement network built by the original team behind Fantom Opera.
It represents a generational leap in blockchain architecture:
Extreme Speed: Achieving up to 400,000 TPS for native token transfers with sub-second finality.
Ethereum Bridge: Seamlessly accesses Ethereum liquidity via the Sonic Gateway.
Scalability: It solves traditional EVM performance bottlenecks, supporting massive concurrency without the need for Sharding or Layer 2 rollups.
SlerfTools now fully supports the Sonic ecosystem, covering token minting, airdrops, trading, and wallet management.
📖 Network Setup & Tutorial Note
Use this page to find the Sonic Network configuration parameters.
Note on Tutorials: Once you have switched networks, the operational workflow on Sonic is identical to BSC. To avoid redundancy, our tutorials use BSC screenshots for demonstration.
The interface and steps on Sonic are unchanged.
Simply follow the visual guide, ensuring you are connected to the Sonic network in your wallet.

Its unique Fee Monetization mechanism allows developers to claim a 90% share of Gas fees, making it the most developer-friendly high-performance EVM chain currently available for monetization.
⚙️ Step 1: Network & RPC Configuration
⚠️ Important Migration Note: The Sonic Mainnet is currently in its launch phase. The native token ticker has officially changed from FTM to S.
Legacy Fantom Opera assets can be migrated 1:1.
Please keep a close watch on official announcements for any last-minute updates to RPC endpoints.

🛠 Step 2: Core Operations Guide
SlerfTools has pioneered compatibility with Sonic's high-performance FVM (Fantom Virtual Machine) environment, empowering you to seize the first wave of DeFi opportunities in this emerging ecosystem.
Universal Operation Note (Must Read):
To streamline our documentation, the tutorials below may rely on BSC interface screenshots. The operational logic on Sonic is 100% identical.
👉 You simply need to:
Follow the Steps: Use the click-through patterns shown in the guide.
Mental Swap: Treat any mention of "BNB" in the screenshots as "S" (the native gas token on Sonic).
Check Connection: Ensure your wallet is connected to Sonic Mainnet (Chain ID: 146) before transacting.

📦 Batch Interaction System
Multi-Sender (Disperse)
Distribute S tokens to thousands of addresses. Thanks to Sonic's architecture, batch operations here are often cheaper than on Layer 2 networks.

⛽️ Gas Fees & Optimization (S)
While Sonic maintains full compatibility with EIP-1559, its underlying pricing logic renders fees extremely low due to the massive throughput capacity of its high-performance architecture.
1. Cost Overview
Standard Transactions: Paid in S.
Thanks to the network's non-congested design, the cost per transfer is virtually negligible (< $0.001).
Gas Monetization:
Sonic inherits Fantom's killer feature: Developers can earn a share of the Gas fees consumed by their smart contracts.
Opportunity: If a contract you deploy via SlerfTools generates significant transaction volume, you may be eligible to claim Official Gas Rebates.
2. How to Acquire Gas (S)?
1:1 Migration:
If you hold legacy Fantom (Opera) FTM, you can swap it for S at a 1:1 ratio via the official bridge/gateway.
Exchanges (CEX):
Major exchanges are gradually enabling support for Sonic (S) mainnet.
⚠️ Caution: Pay close attention to the network selection in your exchange wallet (Distinguish between Fantom Opera and Sonic).
Cross-Chain Bridges:
Use bridges powered by LayerZero or Wormhole to bridge assets like ETH or USDC into Sonic and swap them for S.
3. Pro-Tips for Efficiency
💡 "Frictionless" Interaction:
Unlike Ethereum Mainnet, you generally do not need to worry about "optimizing" gas here.
Rule of Thumb: Keeping just 1-2 S tokens in your wallet is sufficient to power thousands of interactions.
📊 Dev Resources (Common Assets)
⚠️ Launch Phase Warning: Native vs. Bridged Assets The Sonic ecosystem is currently in its initial launch phase. It is critical to distinguish between Native USDC (issued by Circle) and Bridged Assets (via Wormhole/LayerZero). Sending funds to the wrong contract may result in asset loss.

USDC (Native): [Pending official deployment announcement from Circle]

⚠️ Security Reminder: Always verify contract addresses through official project channels. Be extremely wary of phishing sites during the network launch period.

❓ Sonic Specific FAQ
Can I still use my FTM tokens? Is migration mandatory?
Migration is highly recommended. While the Fantom Opera network may continue to operate for some time, the entire ecosystem focus and liquidity will shift to Sonic.
You can swap FTM for S at a 1:1 ratio via the official Gateway. S is the only native Gas token on the Sonic network.
What is the relationship between Sonic and Fantom Opera?
Sonic is the next-generation evolution of Fantom (technically a new high-performance chain).
Fantom Opera: Built on a legacy tech stack.
Sonic: Built on the new FVM (Fantom Virtual Machine) stack. It is faster, more robust, and supports native Gas Monetization for developers.
Why does the RPC connection sometimes drop?
During the initial Mainnet Launch or stress-testing phases, public nodes may undergo maintenance or face high traffic.
Tip: We recommend configuring 2-3 backup RPC nodes in your wallet settings, or using the dedicated RPC endpoints provided within SlerfTools for stability.
Can I use Uniswap on Sonic?
Yes and No. Since Sonic is EVM-compatible, Uniswap forks (like SpookySwap or Equalizer) run seamlessly. However, you must connect your wallet to the Sonic Network and use these specific DEXs, rather than the Uniswap interface on Ethereum Mainnet.
How fast are batch transactions really?
Sonic boasts a Time to Finality (TTF) of ~0.9 seconds. This means once your batch buy order is sent, it is confirmed on-chain almost instantaneously. This speed is perfect for executing precise, real-time Market Making strategies.
