The tutorial screenshots are for reference only. Since Base and BSC are both EVM-compatible chains, the underlying code instructions are identical. What is required for Gas fees when deploying on Base?

The Base chain uses ETH (Ether) for gas. You must first bridge ETH to the Base network via a cross-chain bridge.
